Job Details:
This position is responsible for performing physical and visual inspections of product and plant systems, sample collection and preparation, documenting and calculating results accurately; taking corrective action when necessary (alert appropriate personnel to adjust process; identify, segregate, & isolate non-conforming product) and report results to management; routine equipment cleaning and diagnostics; any additional assignments requested. All team members are responsible for safety. This includes but is not limited to personal safety and food safety.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in the food industry and prior QA experience preferred.
Communication Skills: Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Special Skills: Must possess skills to complete Tyson paperwork; ability to lead by example and communicate with the hourly workforce; good problem identification and problem-solving skills; math and organizational skills; ability to read and interpret product specifications; must function well under stress; must have flexibility to work where and when needed including possibly of working different shifts.
Physical Requirements: Position involved standing for 8 plus hours per day, walking and occasionally lifting up to 30 pounds more).

This role is located at our Hutchinson Plant in Hutchinson, KS.

Must reside in the United States.
