Qualifications

EDUCATION: 

Required:  Active enrollment in, with progression toward completion, or completion of a Bachelor of Science degree program in Medical Technology. 

EXPERIENCE:            

Required:  Completion of a clinical rotation in the section(s) of work assignment.   

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION: 

Trainee license in Medical Technology, if required by the State in which training takes place.

Summary

This is a Temporary Position. Under the direct supervision of a Medical Laboratory Scientist, Lead Technologist or Supervisor, processes Laboratory testing in sections where the successful completion of a clinical rotation has occurred. Tasks performed will include only those which do not require certification or licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist.
