At GDIT, people are our differentiator.  As a Lab Engineer supporting the Government, you will be a part of a team charged with daily operations, maintenance, data center design, and security of lab environments mirroring production.

In this role, a typical day may include:

Designing and implementing Windows domain and child domain architecturesAnalyzing customer functional requirements to develop system requirements specifications and implemented designed solutionsGuiding customers in formulating requirements, advising alternative approaches, and conducting feasibility studiesDesigning and defining system architecture for new or existing computer systemsProviding technical leadership regarding the integration of requirements, design, and technologyIntegrating new plans, designs, and systems into existing buildsDeveloping system architecture and system design documentationGuiding system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of systems engineering management plans and systems integration and test plansInteracting with the Government customers regarding Systems Engineering and technical considerations for associated problems, issues, or conflicts

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain and maintain a CI poly.Must meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements including one of the following:  Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA Security.10 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education (BA/BS) and years of experience.Familiarity with monitoring solutions, and enterprise security compliance requirementsExperience with installation, configuration, and maintenance of VMWare infrastructure and the deployment of virtual machine instancesExperience with the following: Infrastructure engineering, enterprise testing & lab environments, active directory, PKI infrastructure, network administration, data center physical server racking and configuration, Linux administration, Infoblox IPAM administration, and procurement testing & approval of enterprise lab tools
