Job Title: Lab Support Technician Location: Chesterfield, MO Type: Contract, Potential for extension or conversion to permanent Responsibilities + Duties and responsibilities will include maintenance and troubleshooting of various types of equipment (blood gas analyzers, cell analyzers, bioreactors, pH meters, etc.) + Weekly calibration + Ordering of supplies and spare parts + Interfacing with vendors for repairs as required + Technician will be responsible for ordering and maintaining supplies for the laboratory, including chemicals, and will be required to keep the overall lab orderly and organized + The technician will be cross trained in other laboratory functions in order to provide backup, as needed Requirements + Must be able to calculate mathematical calculations and conversions. + Familiar with general safety procedure and guidelines. + Must be self motivated and have a strong attention to detail. + Good communication skills required. + High School Diploma, Associates Degree, or BS/BA in Biotechnology, Biology, Biochemistry, or equivalent.
