ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates the Organization's Mission, Vision, and Values in behaviors, practices, and decisions. Demonstrates knowledge and skills to competently care for all assigned age groups (Neonate, Child, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric as applicable).Demonstrates compliance with hospital and laboratory safety policies and procedures. Maintains a clean and safe work environment. Disposes of waste according to laboratory policies. Performs and records scheduled QC. Notifies a technologist when QC data is outside established limits and takes corrective action as directed. Performs and records routine maintenance of equipment. Recognizes and documents malfunctions and immediately notifies a technologist.SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Associate of Science degree required.
1 year of experience in a clinical laboratory preferred.
