Lab Technician
Job Title: Lab Technician Job Description Join a dynamic team as a Lab Technician, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring daily quality parameters are met within the lab environment. We are seeking an analyst with basic chemistry laboratory experience who is detail-oriented, capable of prioritizing multiple tasks, and effective in team collaboration. The ideal candidate is a self-starter eager to learn and improve lab processes continually. Responsibilities + Organize workload and prioritize samples to maximize output and meet deadlines. + Execute ELISA Kit testing methods accurately and efficiently. + Perform routine instrument maintenance and troubleshooting. + Ensure compliance with Quality control and ISO requirements. + Maintain a work environment adhering to safety rules. + Provide cross-functional support as business needs dictate. + Demonstrate strong organizational skills, independent decision-making, and high attention to detail. Qualifications + 2-Year or 4-year degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food Science, Biotechnology, or related fields. + Proficiency in computer applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and LIMS. + Physical ability to stand for long periods and perform hand movements like grasping, pinching, and turning. + Preferably, experience with ELISA or working in a lab setting. + Industry experience of 3-12 months in GMP/GLP or 6-12 months of undergraduate research is a plus Work Environment The role is based in a lab environment where you will stand for extended periods. The position offers Holiday Pay, and there is a strong chance of conversion to a full-time employee. The lab is equipped with state-of-the-art technologies and has a talented workforce, focusing on nutritional testing for commercial food products. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
