Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Lab Technician for our bourbon distillery. In this role, you will work autonomously on the night shift, handling various tasks to ensure the quality and safety of our products. Responsibilities include:
• Sample Preparation: Collecting mash and fermentation samples
• Testing: Conducting tests for total acids, Ballings, and pH levels
• Database entry
• General housekeeping of distillery laboratories
• Commitment to the company's ISO program, including quality and food safety standards.

This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Bardstown, Kentucky.
Work Environment
Our work schedule follows a 36/48 rotating pattern each week, with 12-hour shifts from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. The workweek runs from Sunday to Saturday. You will work Monday-Tuesday, be off Wednesday-Thursday, and work Friday-Saturday (48 hours). The following week, you will work Sunday, be off Monday-Tuesday, work Wednesday-Thursday, and be off Friday-Saturday (36 hours). This schedule requires working every other weekend and includes holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and the day after. The first week will consist of orientation (first day) and training from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with the manager before transitioning to the night shift.
