General Summary
The Technician SNE, is responsible for managing the Process Safety Lab ensuring quality of data collection critical to
establishing accurate specifications that define the parameters of acceptable finished product. Additionally this position is also
responsible for executing heat penetration tests and heavy equipment operation. Particular attention will be paid to data
collection quality including HP test documentation, as well as recognizing trends via product and equipment data analysis.


Principal Accountabilities
(50%) Process Safety lab management and data collection quality.
(50%) Heat penetration testing execution, processing equipment maintenance (TCs, wires)
Job Complexity (provide several examples of typical work related problems that this position is expected to resolve)
• Manage the lab & process room work areas and maintain a neat work environment.
• Ensure that the appropriate data is collected accurately, neatly and completely documented.
• HP execution carried out as per plan from Process Specialists.
• Work with high pressure steam processing equipment, HMI operator interface, and computers.


Minimum Requirements

HS Diploma or GEDA science background. 1+ years of experience within food science or overall science industry

Preferred Requirements

Bachelor's or Associate's Degree1+ years of experience within Food Science


Working Conditions
The working conditions include a mix of an office environment working with computers, a kitchen/lab environment analyzing
products, conducting tests in a thermal process room which is loud and hot and requires lifting (up to 25 lbs.) and operating
machinery and conducting tests in a food plant manufacturing environment which is also loud and hot.
Travel: minimal

Compensation and Benefits:

The base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between 

$42,240.00 - $68,200.00

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
