In this role, you will perform vital tasks related to the processing, analysis, and management of clinical lab specimens, ensuring that our lab operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently._ **Location:** Agoura Hills, CA **Pay Rate:** $18/hr **Schedule:** M-F, 3pm-11:30pm **Responsibilities:** + Assist in specimen testing under direct supervision according to established procedures. + Record dates of receipt, use, and expiration for all reagents, kits, controls, and standards used in assigned assays. + Pipette samples using calibrated and approved automatic devices or fixed volume dispensers. + Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and document maintenance appropriately. + Develop an understanding of laboratory medicine and the clinical significance of laboratory results. + Adhere to standard operating procedures and safety requirements of Esoterix, CLIA, CAP, and other regulatory bodies. **Requirements:** + Bachelor’s degree in chemical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology, from an accredited institution (including at least 12 semester hours of chemistry). + Previous experience in a medical or lab environment is preferred. + Comfortable handling biological specimens with care and attention to detail. + Flexibility to work overtime as needed to meet production demands.
