Job Title: Lab Technician
Job Description

The Lab Technician will be responsible for testing used motor oil and performing various tests such as Penskey-Martens Closed Cup Flash Point, BS&W by Centrifuge, and pH. The role also requires strict adherence to lab safety procedures.

ResponsibilitiesPerform routine testing on oil samples using Penskey-Martens Closed Cup Flash Point, BS&W by Centrifuge, and pH meters.Follow lab safety procedures meticulously.Conduct wet chemistry and oil testing following standard operating procedures (SOPs).Essential SkillsBachelor's or Associate's Degree in Chemistry1-3 years of lab testing experience using Penskey-Martens Closed Cup Flash Point, BS&W by Centrifuge, and pH meters.Experience with lab safety procedures, wet chemistry, and oil testing.Proficiency with pH meters.Additional Skills & QualificationsOpen-mindednessAbility to take initiativeComfortable with multi-taskingWork Environment

The work environment is a small lab where safety goggles and gloves are required. The shift for this position is Monday to Friday, 12 PM to 8 PM. Employees enjoy long tenures and the company has been established since 1957, working with large utility companies.
