Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform manufacturing tasks to transform raw materials into final products, including decontamination processes, product transfer, and instrument maintenance and logging. This role involves operating laboratory instruments, adhering to all company policies and procedures, and supporting daily management of processes and products through data-driven problem-solving.
ResponsibilitiesPerform manufacturing tasks to transform raw materials into final products, including decontamination processes, product transfer, and instrument maintenance and logging.Operate laboratory instruments to complete tasks by following all work instructions and adhering to company policies and procedures.Strictly adhere to customer-specific and general work instructions and SOPs.Support daily management of processes and products, including assessment to drive problem-solving with data and suggestion of countermeasures.Use automated and manual lab equipment, including but not limited to troubleshooting and maintenance activities.Quantify and sample DNA fragments for quality control tests.Essential SkillsExperience in laboratory settingsKnowledge of biology and chemistryProficiency in pipetting and using laboratory instrumentsTroubleshooting skillsTeam cooperation and efficiencyQuality controlData entry skillsFamiliarity with LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems)Additional Skills & QualificationsAssociate's Degree in Science requiredBachelor's Degree in Life Science preferredExperience working with liquid handlersExperience with DNA quantification and samplingWork Environment
The position operates Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm. Tasks include cell division of oligos, purification through HPLC, and formulation adjustments. The role requires both team collaboration and individual work. The work environment involves both automated and manual laboratory equipment.
