Description Lab Tech 2 Role: -Use a variety of lab equipment to process standard and non-standard products using thermal cyclers and liquid handling machines -Performs a variety of PCR protocols and post PCR cleanup steps -Demonstrates aseptic and sterile techniques to minimize the risk of contamination of products -Efficiently multitasks while running multiple processes -Ensures accurate product records -Use customer software in windows based environment -Quantifies and samples products for quality control tests -Troubleshoots product, process, or equipment problems -Performs routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment Skills pcr, dna extraction, dna sequencing, liquid handling, gel electrophoresis, sterilization, biology, pipetting, lims Top Skills Details pcr,dna extraction,dna sequencing,liquid handling,gel electrophoresis,sterilization Additional Skills & Qualifications -Experience with sterile technique required -PCR experience required -Experience with gel electrophoresis required -Data sequencing experience required -Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Qualifications: - Bachelors Degree in Biology or other related scientific field required OR - Associates degree in science plus 2 years of PCR experience Experience Level Entry Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.47 - $24.47 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
