Our client in consumer packaged goods manufacturing is seeking a **Lab Technician** to join their team. The ideal candidate will have team playing, lab skills and trainability which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title: Lab Technician** **Location: Evansville IN** **Pay Range: $21.50 - $23 hourly** **Contract: Long term/conversion to permanent possible** **Shift: M - F: 8a - 4:30p (flexible on start time up to 9am)** **Overtime Weekend Hours available but NOT required (paid time and a half)** **Job Duties:** + Collect, prepare, and analyze routine quantitative samples of raw materials, finished products and premixes. + Perform chemical quality control tests of vitamins and other nutrients following established methods and utilizing accepted laboratory techniques. + Operate laboratory instruments. + Perform duties required in the routine maintenance of a safe and appropriate laboratory environment which is compliant with company and regulatory standards. + Maintain current, complete, legible notebooks and laboratory records in compliance with good scientific and regulatory practices. **What we're looking for:** + Bachelor’s degree in science (Chemistry, Biology, Food Science, etc.) **- OR -** Equivalent Lab experience and skills will also be considered. + Demonstrates ability to work both independently and as part of a team. + Experience using Microsoft based computer applications a must. + Familiarity with ion chromatography, ICP, mass spectrometry detection and laboratory information management computer systems a plus but not required. **Benefits:** • Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k • Weekly pay with direct deposit • Consultant Care support • Free Training to upgrade your skills • Dedicated Career Partner to help you achieve your career goals If this is a role that interests you and you’d like to learn more, **click apply now** and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
