Job Description ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS * The successful candidate will prepare samples (dilutions, standards, solvent extractions) and perform standard and non-standard analytical measurements * Maintaining and repairing lab apparatus * Documentation of laboratory tests and results in Excel * Some of the technician's time will be spent helping the lead scientist responsible for the GC lab with more advanced analytical methods and performing experiments associated with strategic research. * Another job function is to help oversee all safety-related aspects of the Environmental lab, including maintaining chemical inventory and checking waste containers to comply with safe practices and requirements.
