Job Summary
• This role is responsible for leading initiatives aimed at improving machine uptime and minimizing breakdowns, and conducting calibration, maintenance, and upgrades of test equipment and tools to strict standards. The role ensures precise and high-quality equipment setups and includes extensive system-level and component-level testing, problem-solving at system and manufacturing process levels, and optimizing tool availability and cost-effectiveness. The role also coordinates departmental work, identifies improvement opportunities, and fosters collaboration for process improvement.
Responsibilities
• Leads initiatives focused on enhancing machine uptime and minimizing breakdowns, while also ensuring precise and high-quality equipment setups across all applicable machinery.
• Conducts calibration, maintenance, and upgrades of test equipment and tools according to stringent standards and procedures.
• Conducts extensive system-level and component-level testing and diagnosing, and resolves electrical and mechanical issues.
• Identifies and targets areas for improvement, optimizing tool availability, cycle time, utilization, and cost-effectiveness.
• Provides valuable technical insights to management for problem-solving at both system and manufacturing process levels.
• Analyzes power testing features, defining test parameters, creating tailored quality checks, and documenting final test procedures.
• Coordinates departmental work, identifies improvement opportunities, and ensures effective business controls for streamlined processes.
• Leads and assigns responsibilities for complex requests, contributing innovative concepts, and implementing changes for process improvement.
• Analyzes tasks, collaborates with internal partners, and provides mentoring and guidance to lower-level roles, aiming to enhance organizational performance.
Education & Experience Recommended
• High School Diploma/General Education Diploma (GED)/Higher Secondary education or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 8+ years of related work experience, preferably in test equipment operation, test procedures, test automation, or a related field.
