Job Title: Lab Technician Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lab Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting HPLC testing, preparing process and finished product samples, performing analytical testing, and recording results into software programs. Additionally, you will organize and prepare samples, clean testing equipment and lab areas, and perform light maintenance and calibration on all laboratory equipment. You will ensure that all systems are operating accurately by continually comparing equipment readouts with samples of standards. Responsibilities + Conduct HPLC testing + Prepare process and finished product samples + Perform analytical testing + Record results into software programs + Organize and prepare samples + Clean testing equipment and lab areas + Perform light maintenance and calibration on all laboratory equipment + Organize, clean, and schedule orders for lab equipment + Continually compare equipment readouts with samples of standards to ensure systems are operating accurately Additional Skills & Qualifications + Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field preferred + 1-2 years of relevant lab-based experience + Ability to multitask and run various tests + Familiarity with moisture testing and pH testing prior to starting the position Work Environment Two positions will be full-time in the lab performing testing, while two other positions will support a 16-month ethanol project, involving sample collection and lab analysis. When not engaged in ethanol project tasks, you will be trained on other lab duties. This role has the potential to become a long-term contract position. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Clinton,IA.
