Job Title: Lab Technician Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, or a related field Job Description + Perform all in-house testing and enter results in ERP system or send to designated person. + Monitor raw material and packaging component receipts, perform required tests, and release in ERP system. + Prepare samples for testing performed at outside labs. + Prepare reagents. + Clean and maintain lab and lab equipment to a good working state. + Calibration and periodic checks of lab equipment. + Monitor lab supply inventory and initiate ordering of supplies. + Timely review of test results, notebooks, and lab worksheets. + Update various spreadsheets and databases to track test results, outside testing, and monitor quality. + Effectively communicate with production and other lab personnel about in-process quality results. + Perform regular lab inspections. + Draft, review, and revise SOPs and worksheets. + Help train lab and production personnel on lab procedures. + Communicate with outside labs, customers, and suppliers. + Execute other responsibilities and projects as required. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
