**Job Description:** Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to: + This is primarily a night shift position, but will rotate from time to time for training and other operational needs; + Sample and test lime/limestone and associated products in a continuous plant manufacturing operation; + Data entry to SAP of all quality results from laboratory operation including but not limited to certificate generation, reports, downloads, data verification, and module maintenance; + Monitoring of laboratory equipment and reports of conditions that could lead to product nonconformity; + Report & correct equipment irregularities; + Document control and training requirements related to our ISO program by assuring that our business management system meets the requirements of the ISO standards; + Provide training (and subsequent documentation) on all new and existing procedures; + Work with our sales team to compile and maintain customer guidelines; + Assist in the maintenance of work instruction manuals for job positions; + Ensure compliance with documented procedures, work instructions, and guidelines; + Provide documentation & maintenance of quality records; + Initiate action to prevent production and release of non-conforming product until deficiency or non-conforming product has been corrected within area of responsibility; + Other duties as assigned by management. **Required Skills:** + Qualified candidates will have an Associate’s Degree in a related field; + Bachelor's Degree is highly preferred; + 5+ years of laboratory experience in an industrial manufacturing environment is very important; Computer proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and ability to learn SAP; + Chemical background is a plus; + Prior experience in, or knowledge of, ISO is preferred; + Strong math and organizational skills along with ability to meet deadlines; + Ability to read and interpret technical procedures; Strong communication and interpersonal skills; + Ability to work independently while also operating in a team environment; + High level of integrity and motivation; + Must be willing to work rotating shifts. **Requisition ID** : 192885
