Perform regular chemical titrations to verify chemistries in plating solutions such as electroless nickel, electrolytic nickel, copper, silver, gold, chemical conversion, and chrome. Follow written instructions from process procedures and verbal directions from the lead lab technician. Exhibit competency in performing required chemical analysis using wet titration techniques. Operating a flame Atomic Absorption (AA) spectrometer is a plus. Generate add slips for platers to maintain solution balance. Read and understand Technical Data Sheets. Keep records of titrations and chemistries using the company database. Assist the Technical Process Manager or Senior Lab Technician with other assigned duties. Perform housekeeping duties within the Analytical Lab.

Essential Skills
+ Knowledge in running regular chemical titrations to verify chemistries in plating solutions.
+ Competency in performing required chemical analysis using wet titration techniques.
+ Ability to read and understand technical documents related to chemical analysis techniques.
+ Detail-oriented, high energy , self-starter.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High school diploma and a minimum of two years' experience in an electro-plating job shop chemical lab and/or college-level chemistry courses.
+ Knowledge of environmental and safety practices, including state (ADEQ and ADOSH) and federal (EPA, OSHA, DOT) regulations is a plus.
+ Ability to work with little supervision.
+ Strong teaming, cross-functional, and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment
Work schedule is 4-10s Monday to Thursday from 5am to 3:30pm. Occasionally required to stand, walk, and stoop. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and depth perception. Use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. Working environments include lab and production plating, with occasional exposure to noise, dust, and chemical fumes.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
