WET LAB TECH NEEDED IN WATERBURY, CT!
Primary Responsibilities
- Successfully complete and maintain all appropriate training, and correctly document production records both manually and digitally in accordance with the company’s quality system standards
- Under the direction of the Soiled Device Supervisor or Manager uses the documented techniques, methods, and technologies to proficiently conduct:
- Receiving and Inspecting of Soiled Product
- Communicate with various departments and staff, as needed
- Under the direction of the Lumen Clearing Supervisor or Manager uses the documented techniques, methods, and technologies to conduct:
- Lumen Clearing on at least three specific products
- Average completion of 50 devices per day
- Under the direction of the Pump & Dryer Supervisor or Manager uses the documented techniques, methods, and technologies to proficiently conduct at least two and trained on all of the following:
- Lot Number Assignment
-Initial Decontamination Soak
- Coating Removal
- Secondary Decontamination
-ViewFlex Ultra Wet Room Activities
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and conduct Line Clearance as needed
- Conduct Top-Down cleaning as directed
- Follow the company’s safety and quality guidelines
- Additional responsibilities, projects, tasks, or objectives as assigned by the Wet Room Manager, Wet Room Supervisor, Manufacturing Engineer, Director of Production, or Company Executives
Preferred Qualifications
- Exhibits a positive attitude and thrives in a team-based environment
- Able to lift objects up to 40lbs. and transfer them manually
- Able to work on their feet or sit for extended periods of time
- Basic knowledge of OSHA safety rules and precautionary measures
