Key Responsibilities: + Assist in the sterilization of medical instruments, equipment, and supplies according to established protocols. + Follow strict guidelines and procedures to ensure all items are properly cleaned, disinfected, and sterilized. + Monitor and document sterilization processes, maintaining accurate records and logs. + Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of sterilization equipment. + Ensure the sterilization area is clean, organized, and compliant with safety and regulatory standards. + Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements. + Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of sterilization techniques and safety protocols. Qualifications: + High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in a health science field is a plus. + Attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions. + Strong organizational and time-management skills. + Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. + Willingness to learn and adhere to safety standards and protocols. + Prior experience in a healthcare or laboratory setting is a plus but not required.
