Job Description

As a part of the Motorsport team, you will be a key member to help support our customers in professional motorsport series within North America.

Responsibilities:
• Work directly with internal customers as a technical laboratory interface
• Technical focus on Bosch Motorsport electrical and mechanical products
• Production and maintenance of electrical and mechanical products
• Full ownership of designing and building load test boxes
• Full ownership of designing and building rack mounted testers
• Creation of test box and tester documentation
• Troubleshooting of test boxes, testers, and/or products issues
• Soldering of surface mount device (SMD) soldering from 0402 to large ICs/microcontrollers with heat slugs
• Maintain department equipment calibration
• Set up and perform electrical bench and vehicle tests
• Support logisitics operations, as required

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

Associates degree or 5+ years of equivalent work experienceMinimum 3 years of experience with SMD soldering, designing of test equipment, and building test equipmentAbility to lift 50lbs

Desired Qualifications:

Experience in motorsport, automotive, military, or aerospace fieldsExperience with electronic lab equipment to perform required builds, troubleshooting, and testingExperience with electrical and mechanical product assemblyExperience working with dynamometerCompetency to read and understand schematics and drawingsCreating and updating documentationAbility to effectively communicate with internal customers and external suppliersCan manage work tasks on own without supervisionAble to work with and manage walk-up interruptionsExcellent organizational skills with the ability to re-prioritize work to meet tight deadlines.Ability to complete all tasks with high quality
