In addition, the LER Business Partner will provide training, coaching, and counseling to HR Business Partners and serve as a strategic thought partner to assigned business units.

This position is part of the Labor and Employee Relations department located in LATAM and will be on-site/hybrid or remote pending the candidate’s location and/or desired working arrangement.
In this role, a typical day will look like:
Lead highly complex and sensitive investigations into employee relations matters, including but not limited to discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and policy violationsIdentify innovative solutions to business challenges by gathering and analyzing evidence, interviewing witnesses, and preparing detailed investigation reports and report-outsProvide guidance and recommendations to management on appropriate resolution strategies and corrective actionsDesign best-in-class comprehensive training programs on topics such as conflict resolution, positive associate training and workplace conductServe as a specialist on labor laws, regulations, and collective bargaining agreementsProvide guidance and support to management on labor relations issues, including union organizing campaigns, contract negotiations, and grievance resolutionAssist in developing and implementing proactive strategies to maintain positive relationships with our works councils and union representatives and foster a collaborative working environmentCollaborate with business leaders and HR partners to understand the unique challenges and opportunities within assigned business unitsAct as a trusted advisor and thought partner, offering insights and recommendations to enhance employee engagement, productivity, and retentionStay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging issues in labor and employee relations, and proactively share knowledge and expertise with internal stakeholdersLead functional teams and projects as requiredThe essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.Minimum of 7 years of experience in labor and employee relations roles, with a demonstrated track record of conducting complex investigations and delivering training programs.Thorough understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as experience working with labor unions and collective bargaining agreements.Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.Professional certifications such as SPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP are a plus.With annual sales of $5 billion, Veralto is a global leader in essential technology solutions with a proven track record of solving some of the most complex challenges we face as a society.
