Our client, a prominent AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a skilled and motivated Mid-Level or Senior Associate Attorney to join their Labor and Employment Class Action Group in Texas. This hybrid position is available in the Austin, Dallas, or Houston offices.
Candidate Profile: JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record. Bar Admission in Texas. 4–6 years of substantive experience in employment or class action litigation, with a desire for trial work. Experience defending employment discrimination, EEOC/DOL, wage and hour claims, including class action lawsuits. Background in counseling employers on federal and state employment law compliance, drafting workplace policies, and assisting clients with general employment issues is a plus. Superior legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Key Responsibilities: Defend employers in complex employment litigation, including wage and hour class actions and discrimination claims. Counsel clients on compliance with federal and Texas employment laws and regulations. Draft and prepare workplace policies, employment agreements, and severance agreements. Represent clients in depositions, witness interviews, and trial preparations. Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys on high-profile employment cases.
