While you’re busy impacting the healthcare industry, we’ll take care of you with benefits that may include health/dental/vision, FSA, matching retirement plans, paid vacation, adoption assistance, annual bonus eligibility, and more! **Responsibilities** **Job Summary:** This position is responsible for serving as the primary Registered Nurse delivering care to post-partum women and normal newborns who are admitted to the Family Birth Center. **Essential Duties:** + Assesses and cares for post-partum and newborn patients. + Identifies and provides appropriate interventions to mothers with post-partum complications. + Provides support and education to breast-feeding mothers. + Identifies full-term infants at risk for complications and provides appropriate care to the full-term infant with complications. **Qualifications** **Job Requirements:** + Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, BSN degree is preferred. + Minimum 6 months previous RN experience required. + One year of related work experience in an acute care setting is preferred. + Previous Mother-Baby experience, or One to two years Med/Surg experience with completion of Mother/Baby Education program. + Current licensure as a Registered Nurse issued by the Washington State Board of Nursing. + Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS Certification. Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements. + Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) completion within 6 months of date of hire. + National Certification Corporation (NCC) or American Nurses Credentialing Center certification preferred. **Pay Range** $42.43 - $71.67 /hour We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
