Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking a dedicated Surgical tech to join the Labor and Delivery Unit at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, WA! This is your chance to provide life-saving care to the newest members of military families while working in a collaborative and mission-driven environment.

 Minimum Qualifications:Must be a US CitizenDegree: CertificateEducation: Graduate from a Surgical Technology program accredited by CAAHEP or ABHES, or completion of a formal training program provided by any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces (Army, Navy, or Air Force) for surgical technicians, surgical technologists, or operating room technicians.Certification: Certified as a Surgical Technologist (CST) by NBSTSA, or certified as a Tech-in-Surgery (TS-C) by NCCT, or possess a Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) certification as a surgical technician and/or operating room technician.BLS Experience: One year of experience within the last two years as a Surgical Technician or Operating Room Technician.Core Duties:Perform the full spectrum of sterile techniques, setting up surgical trays, preparing and draping patients for surgery, and assisting with post-operative dressings.Ensure surgical packs are cleaned and packed for sterilization after every procedure, including restocking surgical supplies.Maintain a clean, safe environment for patients by actively participating in the cleaning of clinical spaces, operating rooms, and medical equipment, or by guiding other personnel in environmental maintenance.Why You’ll Love This Role:
