Labor & Employment Class Action Associate Attorney / Mid-Level
Location: Chicago, Illinois
Our client, a prominent AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a skilled and motivated Mid-Level Associate Attorney to join their Labor and Employment Class Action Practice Group in Chicago.
Candidate Profile: JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record. Bar Admission in Illinois. 3–5 years of substantive experience in employment-related and/or class action litigation, with a desire for trial work. Experience defending wage and hour, employment discrimination, and EEOC/DOL claims. Background in counseling employers on federal and state employment law compliance, drafting workplace policies, and assisting clients with employment issues. Superior legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Key Responsibilities: Defend employers in complex employment litigation matters, including wage and hour class actions. Draft and prepare employment agreements, severance agreements, and workplace policies. Counsel clients on compliance with federal and state employment laws. Represent clients in depositions, witness interviews, and trial preparations. Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys on high-stakes employment cases and transactional matters.
