This role plays a critical part in managing payroll, by maintaining our labor models, analyzing business and workforce data, managing store labor allocation in the WFM system, and identifying opportunities for optimization. This is position is hybrid, working three days a week in office from our Houston office, and will report to the Sr. Manager of Labor Management. What You’ll Do | Key Accountabilities Maintain and enhance labor models, partnering with FP&A to ensure alignment with payroll strategy. Build and maintain comprehensive seasonal staffing guidance to provide field leadership critical information on staffing to meet peak demands while optimizing payroll spend. Monitor and report on KPIs, providing insights to stakeholders to support decision-making and ensuring alignment with company strategies. Collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets related to sales and payroll metrics to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that improve labor optimization. Develop reports and visualizations using various tools including WFM, Excel, and other BI tools Support Retail Operations with data analysis and reporting. On a weekly basis, review business forecast and adjust labor allocation to meet financial obligations Manage workload requests and identify optimal period to execute, ensuring we stay within our financial budget. Provide support to the WFM system, including responding to field requests, answering support tickets, updating configurations, and addressing data feed errors. Periodically review and update store operating hours for seasonal fluctuations, holidays, and as-needed exceptions Additional projects, tasks and reporting as needed. What You’ll Bring | Skills & Experience Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field 5+ years’ experience working with Workforce Management Systems. 5+ years working in an analytical role. Candidate should possess a strong background in business intelligence & reporting tools, such as MicroStrategy, Cognos, SAP, Oracle, or similar enterprise-grade platforms.” Candidate should preferably be experienced in data visualization software, such as Tableau, Looker, PowerBI, or similar. Advanced Excel skills required, proficient with Microsoft Office product suite. Analytical skills coupled with an ability to interpret data, communicate findings, and propose recommendations. Effective at evaluating situations and developing process improvement plans. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to balance competing priorities and secure resolution through interdepartmental collaboration. Strong business acumen; retail experience a plus. Ability to perform and remain organized in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Aptitude to influence colleagues, peers, and cross-functional teams throughout the organization. In office position, up to 3 days a week from our Houston office. We take into consideration an individual’s skills, background, and experience in determining final salary. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
