Primary Purpose of the Position:
Strengthen the relationship between the Company, Associates and Union Leadership, by creating a communication channel that enables the understanding between the parties, with the aim of preserving the common interests and enable solutions that promote wellbeing and the achievement of business objectives.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
• Managing the Union Relations tasks covering legal, labor, internal policies, and procedures aspects.
• Establish regular meetings with the Union for monitoring of matters in progress and seek feedback to leadership to promote a good organizational climate and acting proactively, anticipating opportunities for change before they become obstacles to the organization's strategies.
• Plan meetings between the Company and the Union at different levels, ensuring alignment and exchange of relevant information about the area, division and company, ensuring the dealings of issues and cooperation in resolving conflicts in the best time and in the appropriate forum.
• Strengthen the relationship Company and Union presenting sustainable results.
• Implement and execute policies, strategies and tools of Compensation and Benefits, Payroll, Hiring and Terminations.
• Provide support on HR matters to all associates of the business areas served. Strengthen Leadership in resolutions of conflicts and demands.
• Monitor and support initiatives to achieve and keep a positive organizational climate.
• Contributing shares of the Company's financial sustain.
Education:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Industrial Engineer, Human Resources Management or Psychology or related fields.
Advanced English, written and oral.
Desired:
Master’s in Business Administration or Organizational Development/related areas
Certification in Coaching and evaluation tools.
Experience:
Required:
• 8+ years of experience in human resources acting as Generalist/HRBP.
• 5+ years of experience in HR Manufacturing under a complex and intense labor force and distribution model in multinational companies.
• 5+ years of managerial positions Matrix organization setup and multi-national enterprise.
• Union negotiations and labor relations strong expertise.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to analyze data, understand trends, develop recommendations for action based on the analysis.
• Strong ability to influence through strong relationships, expertise and data and the ability to manage a set of stakeholders.
• Comfortable to execute by him/herself to get things done and being part of deeply complex strategy discussions.
• Strong sense of the importance of teamwork and collaboration.
• Superior communication skills and understand how to communicate large, complex change.
