Laboratory Administrative Supervisor

The Administrative Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Ovation Lab Administration Department. In addition to a superb understanding of laboratory processes and flow, referring clinical operations and IVF cycle preparation and processes, the Lab Administrative Supervisor ensures that all pertinent pre-cycle information is gathered for the laboratory in a timely and organized manner and patient services are held to a high standard of professionalism. The Administrative Supervisor is required to support the mission, vision, values, and strategic initiatives of Ovation Fertility and must demonstrate a commitment to provide quality service to patients, physicians, coworkers, and the public.

This role will be responsible for managing a team and will require the candidate to possess leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to train, motivate, and develop staff.

We have an immediate opening for a full-time Laboratory Administrative Supervisor to join our team. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, with weekends and holidays on a rotation basis with other team members. Pay range is $70-80k annually.

How You'll Contribute:

Supervise administrative support personnel Answer phones, directing all phone calls to the appropriate resource Enter patient demographics into the patient EMR system Oversee the scheduling of patient appointments through EMR software Check-in patients, give instructions for collecting specimens and room patient in collection room Oversee IVF patient chart preparation and scanning in a timely and organized manner Respond to patient inquiries by phone and email Coordinate with nurse teams for physician referrals and collect the following: embryology requisitions, thaw orders, IDS results, confirm consents are completed, and all other paperwork required to schedule IVF procedures Enter data into laboratory databases Collect payments for andrology services/submit checks to be deposited Email/Fax reports to outside physicians Order office supplies/schedule FEDEX/UPS pickups Perform all other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring:

Associates degree required 1+ year of data entry experience into EMR system Ability to work weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis with other teammates Excellent intrapersonal communication skills Excellent planning and organizational skills Ability to work independently Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail Ability to work as part of a team
