Leads in the conduct of analysis of in-process materials and finished products consistent to the established product specifications. He/she performs other related activities such as care of assigned laboratory equipment and facilities, preparation of test reports, documentation of pertinent shift events, coordination with other departments regarding shift activities and training of laboratory technicians. He/she identifies classification of product, performs equipment troubleshooting  and supports in the preparation for performance appraisal of Laboratory Technicians. Laboratory analyst may also be assigned to conduct raw materials and utility chemicals analysis. He/she may be assigned to handle materials and services acquisition.

 

Leads in the conduct of laboratory analysis on Regular Day Duty for raw materials, utility chemicals, process water and wastewater, development of test methods, and control of laboratory materials.

 

As Shift Laboratory Analyst leads in providing laboratory analysis for in-process materials and finished products

 

Performs activities such as calibration and preventive maintenance of assigned laboratory equipment, preparation of test reports.

Coordinates with and assists the QA Supervisor regarding quality or equipment problems, performance appraisal of Laboratory Technician.

 

A graduate of Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or Biochemistry.

Must be PRC Licensed Chemist

Experience in operating Laboratory Equipment a plus.

With strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Problem Solving and decision making capabilitties

High initiative to work with minimum supervision, and able to work unedr pressure.

Must be willing to work shifting schedules, and be based in Mariveles, Bataan.
