Short Description
Performs registration in IDX for laboratory drop-off specimens.
Monitors Ancillary Error Log - makes corrections in Healthquest, IDX or Lab Systems when required.
Adds patient charges to Healthquest for miscellaneous test requests. Merges patient accounts in Sunquest.
Add/deletes/modifies charges in Healthquest when requested by QA Manager and Admin Director.
Provides support to Customer Service and Reference departments.
Experience Required
5 years previous Laboratory Assistant experience.
Customer service or specimen processing experience in a medical setting or laboratory preferred.
Education Requirements
High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
Phlebotomy or medical assistant training or experience preferred.
