Your Role
As a Laboratory Associate 1, you will be required to support the department to maintain an efficient and timely flow of material through Manufacturing Process cleaning and monitoring of environmentally controlled suite for department. In addition, you will complete cleanings as necessary per OP based on work volume; follow strict gowning requirements in the area; complete required cleaning checks as required per OP; ensure stocking levels in the suite are adequate and restock as necessary; facilitate product release from Manufacturing; manage Manufacturing waste transfer up to/including wrangler removal, waste removal from labs, chemical removal.
This position is on 2nd shift, Monday - Thursday from 12:30 pm to 11pm. Stock – Distribute, sort and maintain Manufacturing inventory Coordinate/Order supplies for all site stockrooms Restock areas upon arrival of supplies Monitor stock of Stockrooms/Labs to ensure inventory levels are maintained Assist in weekly/monthly manufacturing cycle counts for inventory accuracy Facilitate delivery of chemical inventory to technicians and scientists as needed Assist in monthly review of overhead chemical inventories in manufacturing labsQuality and Safety Expectations
Prepare accurate, complete and legible records in accordance with established procedures Successfully complete required quality and safety training Participate as needed in quality or customer audits including preparation of responses to questions Properly label chemicals and reagents with all needed quality documentation Report all safety observations and injuries to ensure a safe workplace is maintained Notify supervisor of any deviation from current procedure Utilize system of quality documents to record sampling performed and usage of equipment as directed by supervisor Assist in preparation and/or update of written operating procedures as needed
Physical Attributes:
Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds properlyOperation of manual material handling equipment Handling quantities of all hazard classes of chemicals
Who You Are:

High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in washing small and/or large-scale lab equipment 1 + year of college coursework in ChemistrySAP WM and QM knowledge Basic PC operation Basic knowledge of chemistry and math General knowledge of balances Operation and maintenance of balances Inventory tracking Time management Attention to detail Verbal and written communication skills Problem solving
