Your role at Baxter:As a Laboratory Chemist, your support will be essential in verifying operational and administrative tasks in the Laboratory, mainly in functions related to the Chemistry area. You will be responsible for compliance, control and monitoring of the Laboratory's own procedures
What you'll be doing:Responsible for compliance with the controls established in the procedures for microbiological analysis
related to the environmental control of the plant and critical systems: microorganisms in air, microorganisms on surfaces, microorganisms in compressed air, microorganisms in plant water and monitoring of non-viable particles.
2. Responsible for the control of analyses related to the final product for which the person is duly trained and certified: pyrogens, subvisible particles, bioburden.
3. Responsible for the control of analyses related to physical-chemical analysis, raw materials and compressed air.
4. Perform required monitoring of critical systems: filter integrity test, Dew Point, Johnson Oil.
5. Actively collaborate with the management of the reagent inventory, as well as the preparation, standardization and documentation of the area's own solutions.
6. Coordinate the execution of the physical-chemical analyses of the plant water.
7. Execution of improvement activities and projects related to the validation of laboratory equipment and methods. Support for cleanroom validations and critical systems
8. Responsible for establishing controls for calibration compliance of those laboratory equipment whose calibration is the responsibility of the laboratory.
9. Responsible for the control of the execution of other regulatory laboratory analyses. As well as monitoring compliance with indicators and goals of the area.
10. Monitoring compliance with safety standards within the Quality Laboratory. Ensure proper disposal of hazardous chemical wastes.
11. Responsible for understanding and contributing to the improvement of local procedures (SOP); as well as comply with the requirements of the divisional specifications.
12. Responsible for establishing controls for compliance with the microbiological tests required in the extraordinary maintenance package (SMP) system, which are applied in the critical systems of the plant.
13. Contribute to the process of improvement and resolution of opportunities in the area.
14. Conduct Real-Time Audits of Cleanrooms and Participate in Improving GMP Compliance
