Laboratory Engineer
The application window is expected to close on 4/16/2025 Meet the Team Our team is dedicated to driving the post-silicon validation cycle to ensure Product Quality and Time to Market Metrics are met. We focus on developing test requirements for innovative IP to reduce test overhead in both design and production phases. Our custom test solutions cater to a range of products, including those with high power and large dies, as well as cost-sensitive packages. Your Impact In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the end-to-end system test solution in the lab. * Assist in hardware bring-up and develop/customize SLT hardware for high-volume manufacturing, focusing on industrial design, automation support, power, performance, and testability. * Validate hardware and execute test scripts during bring-up. * Address hardware/test-related issues during the sustain phase. * Support overall laboratory operations. * Troubleshoot and maintain hardware in the lab, including SLT stations, sockets, and test infrastructure. * Manage prototypes, ensuring efficient tracking. * Perform electrical measurements as part of the design validation process. * Collaborate closely with the engineering team to conduct tests and resolve complex technical challenges. * Develop and validate test infrastructure for CFT stations. * Test, validate, and modify CFT stations to comply with thermal and ESD specifications. Minimum Qualifications * Bachelors +5 years related experience or Masters +3 years of related experience. * 5+ years of experience in a New Product Introduction (NPI) and manufacturing setting. * 5+ years of experience conducting tests on semiconductor devices using hands-on automated bench-test setups. Preferred Qualifications * Experience with ASIC design collaboration. * Familiarity with Cisco Silicon One Productization Strategy. * Proficiency in managing SLT hardware customization. * Strong problem-solving skills with complex technical challenges. * Expertise in thermal and ESD compliance. \#WeAreCisco #WeAreCisco where every individual brings their unique skills and perspectives together to pursue our purpose of powering an inclusive future for all.
