Position Summary:
Candidate will work in a hands-on environment in the engineering test lab supporting Qualification Testing of ITT products. As an Electronic Test Technician, you will be responsible for preparing the specification of equipment,
modification, assembly, and installation of test fixtures and control instrumentation used to conduct product
testing for our Electronic Engineering Group.
Essential ResponsibilitiesPrimary Responsibilities:
With training and supervision:
Design and fabrication of prototype (breadboard) electronic circuits, qualification or production test equipmentand other test sets.Set up and perform a range of environmental tests including vibration and shock tests, thermal chamber tests, and pneumatic cycling tests.Set up and operate test support equipment including power supplies, oscilloscopes, and timing control circuits. Document activities and results using written log sheets, plotted data, and photographs.Generate test procedures and reports. Management of multiple simultaneous projects.Maintain detailed record of all custom-built equipment maintenance and repairs performed.Ensure timely responses to maintenance requests and effective management of maintenance tasks on test equipment.Perform on time planned PM on all custom-built equipment used for testing in Production areas.Train production personnel on use of custom-built equipment used for testing in Production areas.Reverse engineering and documenting existing test equipment.Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to details on procedures and techniquesSkills and Experience:

Associate degree in mechanical or electrical engineering technology or equivalent experienceRequires minimum 5 years of experience in a hands-on environment; manufacturing or test.Requires familiarity with mechanical and electrical devices and ability to problem solve. Experience setting up and operating electronic test equipment and data acquisition systems (Data Logger, Oscilloscope, and LabVIEW) is a plus.Knowledge of environmental testing per RTCA DO-160 and MIL-STD-810 is a plus.Must be ambitious, possess excellent verbal and writing skills, and be comfortable working in a team environment.This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
