The Department of Biological Sciences is seeking a Laboratory Research Technician. This position will perform experiments in a microbiology laboratory that are aimed at understanding the diversity and utility of Actinobacteriophages. Primary research responsibilities will include: isolation, characterization, and engineering of bacteriophages to various Actinobacteria including Mycobacteria, Gordonia, Arthrobacter, Microbacterium and Rhodococcus. Also responsible for coordinating routine operations of lab.
