Aspirus Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids, WI is seeking a Laboratory Section Lead- MLS to join our team!

Performs laboratory procedures using established and approved protocols that require the broad exercise of independent judgement and responsibility with minimal technical supervision. Maintains equipment and records.Performs department quality assurance activities related to testing and performance.Functions as an educator and leader within the laboratory, as needed.All individuals in this job classification meet the qualifications necessary to perform highly complex testing as defined by the CLIA of 1988. 

HOURS: 1.0 FTE/80 hours every two weeks, varied scheduling 

Experience/Qualifications

Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field.Has a minimum of 2 years of clinical laboratory experience.Possesses active Medical Technology (MT-ASCP), Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS-ASCP), Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT-ASCP) or equivalent.Current BLS certification may need to be obtained
