Job Description

PSI Laboratory Specialists provide professional managerial input to global clinical studies ensuring that the central, regional, and local laboratories involved in the study comply with industry good practices, PSI’s Standard Operating procedures and all relevant regulations.

Hybrid working arrangement in Madrid area

Responsibilities include:

Supporting the selection of central and regional laboratories for clinical studiesProviding support / consultancy on lab-related issues of clinical studiesParticipating in technical assessment of laboratoriesCoordinating the contracting of clinical laboratoriesPerforming study-specific remote set up of clinical laboratoriesPreparing laboratory-related clinical study documentationCoordinating the transfer of samples between laboratoriesParticipating in routine calls with contracted labsConducting initiation and monitoring visits to laboratoriesDelivering training in laboratory related proceduresInvestigating and resolving issues with laboratories, couriers and clinical study sites

Please note that this position requires occasional travel (national and international)

Qualifications

Requirements

Essential:

University degree in Life SciencesFull working proficiency in English Proficiency in MS Office applicationsAbility to plan and work in a dynamic team environmentCommunication, collaboration and problem-solving skills

Nice to have:

Postgraduate qualifications and publications in international scientific journals Prior industry experience/ experience working in clinical trials
