**Job Description** The BAE Systems site in Kingsport, Tennessee, is seeking aLaboratory Analyst. In this role, the Laboratory Analyst: + Performs a variety of physical and chemical testing safely using instrumentation and wet chemistry. + Records and maintains accurate data using provided data sheets and entering data into LIMS. + Complies with all applicable laboratory and safety procedures. + Ensures all work areas are kept clean, neat, and organized. + Troubleshoots instrumentation problems and testing issues as the need arises. + Works in a team environment to complete all laboratory testing. **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** + Typically requires a High School Diploma, or the equivalent, and two (2) years experience in an analytical laboratory; + Working knowledge of analytical instruments, physical and chemical testing; + Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts; + Advanced math and computer skills; + Exceptional attention to detail and safety; + Ability to differentiate between color differences during required testing; + Able to work effectively in a team environment; + Computer skills to include MS Office Suite (Word, Excel). **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** + Three (3) years or more in analytical laboratory; + Experience troubleshooting analytical equipment; + Experience testing explosives. **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $44640 - $71460 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
