Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Laboratory/Technical Assistant for the Department of Molecular Biology and Biochemistry within the School of Arts and Sciences. This position will assist a senior graduate student and departing postdoc with completing their research projects by assisting with routine technical work in the laboratory.
Among the key duties of this position are the following: Prepares biological samples. Assists lab members with sample collection. Maintains sample record. Processes samples following routine protocols, and maintain detailed records for each sample. Mouse husbandry: genotyping, weaning, and animal care. Position Status Full Time Hours Per Week 40 Daily Work Shift Day Work Arrangement FLSA Nonexempt Position Salary $37,000 - $40,000/annually Payroll Designation PeopleSoft Benefits Rutgers offers a comprehensive benefit program to eligible employees.
