Job Description
The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for the execution and support of all tasks related to Operational and System Quality Assurance as defined by cGMP for all regulated materials at the Bushy Park facility.
ResponsibilitiesPerform QC testing to ensure quality standards are met.Conduct chemical tests to verify substance composition.Carry out gravity testing to measure density.Perform optic rotation tests.Execute IR/UV testing to analyze chemical properties.Conduct chemical analysis as required.Essential SkillsProficiency in quality control procedures.Knowledge of chemistry.Experience in laboratory settings.Additional Skills & QualificationsNot Applicable.Work Environment
The role is based out of the Bushy Park facility. The working conditions include a laboratory environment with daily interaction with production employees to communicate analysis and quality status. The facility operates on different shifts: 6am - 4pm and 2pm - 12am. The dress code is laid back, though business casual is required for interviews, with flat shoes being appropriate. The environment is conducive to creative freedom and professional development, with opportunities in various sectors such as research, lab work, sales, marketing, procurement, corporate functions, engineering, and production. Employees enjoy excellent working conditions, training programs, and an attractive compensation package. The facility is known for producing menthol, UV filters for sunscreens, and specialty cosmetics, with four operational plants. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, day shift from 8AM - 4PM, totaling 40 hours per week.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
