Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Biology, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related discipline. 2. Experience using data analysis software (including Excel and/or R), especially in environmental, geological, or chemical analysis settings, as evidenced by application material. **Position Overview:** The Kansas Geological Survey (KGS) is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Laboratory Technician. This full-time position focuses on supporting the analysis of water and aqueous solutions using a variety of advanced analytical instruments, including ICP-OES, ICP-MS, TOC, IC, nutrient analyzer, and alkalinity titration systems. The ideal candidate will assist in day-to-day lab operations, sample analysis, data QA/QC and analysis, and instrument maintenance.
