We have an immediate opening for a Laboratory Technician to join our Materials Testing group in our London, ON office.

What a day at EXP has in store for you

Carrying out aggregate, asphalt, soil and concrete tests within our Aggregate, Asphalt, and Concrete Laboratories;Ensuring laboratory equipment is maintained in good condition;Assisting management team in laboratory certification, and record keeping;Interacting with Materials and Geotechnical Engineers routinely;Operating computerized and digital testing equipment.


What your experience looks like

Minimum 1 years’ experience in Aggregate, Asphalt, and Concrete testing Laboratory;Possess a current CCIL/CSA Certification for concrete (field and laboratory) an asset;Possess a current CCIL Certification for Aggregates/Asphalt/Soils an asset; Knowledge in Physical Properties and Petrographic Number determinations an asset;Experience with Marshall and Superpave testing;Strong focus on Health and Safety;Posses a valid driver's license and own vehicle;Strong communication skills and leadership capabilities;Ability to work overtime in peak periods;Excellent organizational skills and time management a must;Proficiency with the windows operating system, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel;Able to organize, prioritize, set and adjust priorities and schedules independently.
