Job Description

Monitor, operate water treatment equipment consisting of Microfilters, Reverse Osmosis and demineralizers. Collection and analysis of makeup water, boiler water, cooling water and wastewater. Trend and interpret water data from our Plant information system (PI). Collection and analysis of fly ash, coal and SDA waste ash samples. Monitor/maintain the Used oil area, universal/hazardous waste areas/programs. Must be clean shaven at all times to don a respirator as needed.

Required Skills and Experience

Highschool education or GED Equivalent

2 years water treating experience preferred

College chemistry courses preferred

Laboratory Technician working straight shift work, prearranged/call out overtime, holidays and weekends.
