They are seeking an R&D Technician that brings at least one year of laboratory experience! Located in Dayton, OH **12 month contract** **Schedule:** 1st shift Monday-Friday **Pay:** $22-27 + **Sample Collection & Analysis:** Perform collection and analysis of samples under the supervision of a lead investigator, following established methods, SOPs, experimental designs, and verbal instructions. Execute assigned tasks with accuracy, maintaining detailed documentation and communication of results, with minimal direct supervision. + **Analytical Techniques:** Conduct analysis of collected or submitted samples using wet chemistry, enzymatic assays, and instrumentation-based techniques, including HPLC, rheology, moisture determination, and protein analysis. + **Production Sampling:** Retrieve samples and raw materials from a potentially physically demanding production environment while adhering to personal safety, food safety, and operational program guidelines. + **Safety & Compliance:** Participate in facility safety training and strictly adhere to all lab and facility safety standards and programs. + **Lab Maintenance & Support:** Perform routine laboratory duties such as cleaning, solution preparation, instrument maintenance, and inventory auditing. + **Adaptability:** Support critical production needs by adjusting priorities on short notice as required. **Required Qualifications** + B.S. or M.Sc. in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Food Science with laboratory experience. + Experience conducting laboratory work and maintaining detailed records of findings.
