Laboratory Technician in the Performance Films R&D Technology group at Eastman Chemical Company in Shanghai. This role supports application development scientists working on innovations in the automotive and architectural markets, focusing on solar control and paint protection films. Responsibilities include:

Develop and improve products by collaborating with application development scientists Conduct tests to evaluate material and product quality. Optimize lab testing processes for efficiency. Analyze data and report findings. Provide technical support to customers and teams. Maintain accurate records and documentation. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements. Ensuring compliance with safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and quality standards during product development and testing activities Develop technical expertise in laboratory techniques and equipment. Ensure and promote a safe work environment. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in chemistry Experience in a CNAS/ISO certified lab preferred Formal training in laboratory procedures Strong problem-solving, math, and science skills Initiative and teamwork skills; clear written and oral communication essential Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
