Job DescriptionEurofins Built Environment Testing is looking for a Laboratory Technician for our San Diego location. This position is full-time with a Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm shift and possible overtime and weekends as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
Regular attendance and punctuality
Greets and assists laboratory clientele
Performs routine lab tasks that provide experience and familiarization with methods, practices, and programs. These include:
Preparation of samples using standard techniquesReceiving and logging in samples using a LIMS systemAssisting with Environmental Health and Safety and Quality Assurance dutiesRecording and reporting any unusual test occurrences to the supervisorPerforming routine maintenanceResponsible for performing job functions in compliance with Eurofins environmental health safety and Quality assurance standards
Responsible for general housekeeping in his/her work area
Works under close supervision using routine and standard methods
Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
Performs other duties as assigned
QualificationsQualifications
