Join our team as a Laboratory Technician II and support our client in  a big petrochemical industry! This is a full-time contract position located in Nanticoke, Ontario, Canada.

Role Overview

Perform routine and non-routine laboratory analysis and wet chemistry on product and in-process samples. Support plant operations by ensuring quality assurance and control through accurate data generation and record-keeping. Calibrate and maintain test equipment to ensure accurate results. Utilize analytical instruments to address quality assurance and control issues. Prepare chemical stock solutions, reagents, and set preparation standards. Receive direction and support from lab supervisors and chemists. Work with moderate direction and utilize skills and knowledge to perform job duties.

Education & Experience

Background in Chemical, Process, or Technical Engineering from a polytechnic institution. Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Process, or Technical Engineering preferred. Experience in the petrochemical industry advantageous.

Skills & Qualifications

Proficient in computer usage. Preferable experience in quality control systems.
