Laboratory Technician Job Location: Dalton, Yorkshire, United Kingdom Employment Type: Regular Category: Production / Operations Posting Date: Feb 4, 2025 Compensation Data £24,539.42 - £25,000.00 per annum Mission Details Division : Bostik (Dalton) Department : Quality Assurance JOB TITLE LABORATORY TECHNICIAN SITUATION IN ORGANISATION - Direct report to the Dalton / Leicester Quality Manager JOB DIMENSIONS Bostik Limited is a world leading manufacturer of adhesives, sealants, coatings, cement products and waterproofing materials supplying into the transportation, industrial, construction and DIY/consumer markets. The main areas of the role are as follows: - To complete all performance testing of Dalton Site products in line with specification requirements - To support the Dalton / Leicester Quality Manager in the ongoing maintenance of Product Certification - To support site Calibration programme of all equipment used in inspection and testing Applicants must be safety conscious, reliable and flexible ACTIVITIES TASKS : - To ensure all work is conducted according to accepted Health and Safety practice in order that no one is injured. - To complete all performance testing of Dalton Site products in line with Customer and Product Certification requirements - To carry out testing of all raw materials to set specifications and report on test results - To report any non-conformance / deviations from Specifications and test results on SQC pack and SAP - To release Products in the SAP system in line with Product testing requirements - To ensure that all equipment in the In-Process Testing Laboratories is maintained and defects reported - To maintain the QA laboratory in good working order & housekeeping standards are maintained - This is not an exhaustive list, other reasonable tasks may require to be completed as your supervision requires - 40 Hours per week Monday to Friday 6.00am to 2.30pm - Job Type: Full-time, permanent SAFETY, ENVIRONMENT, QUALITY - Arkema places the safety and security of its activities, the health of people, the protection of the environment, and the satisfaction of its customers at the top of its priorities.
